Platform Kinetics was formed out of developing electrochemical applications in 2013. Since then we have worked on many applications from life sciences (including real-time wearable), Agricultural through to Environmental. Our key focus is working with our customers to provide custom instrumentation and Software. Over the years we have combined electrochemical methods with many other technologies, including microfluidics and image processing which makes what we offer as company very unqiue and powerful.

Electrochemical Instrumentation
We develop and manufacture off-the-shelf electrochemical instrumentation and custom application specific instrumentation. Our potentiostat technology ranges from low-cost single chip solutions, single board integratable modules, through to smartphone connected instruments.
We work also support 3rd party potentiostats, from Analog Devices and Palmsens. If you are working with an existing potentiostat that requires integrating in a wider application, then we can help with this too.

Electrochemical Electrodes & Consumables
We develop and manufacture custom electrochemical electrodes which can be functionalised with the required electro-active agents. We can also integrate electrodes into custom microfluidic or macrofluidic cartridges and flow cells where reagents can be automatically mixed in order to create custom assays and protocols, see our microfluidics page for some examples.
We can also work with you on front-end sample preparation, micro-extraction or purification steps.

Electrochemical Software
Electrochemical Software is very important, whether that is a user interface so that an operator can interpret the data or whether you need some custom algorithms running in the background of a sensor to automatically detect characteristic peaks or features.
